We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

As I've gotten older the big C has been affecting my family more and more. Most recently cancer of the prostate is causing agony and anguish in my immediate family and my extended family.

In January, my friend James and I will be travelling to Tanzania for this epic (possible mid-life-crisis) adventure. We are taking the 8 day Lemosho route to give us the best chance of acclimatising to the altitude. We have had great fun training as you can see in the photos.

I must stress that the Kilimanjaro trek is a personal journey and was never intended to be a sponsorship opportunity. It is fully funded and I will be going regardless. However it does seem like a good opportunity to do some good for others and I have decided to see if I can raise a little for Prostate Cancer UK in the process.

If you can afford to spare something for a good cause I would be very grateful.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
