Story

The Founder’s Trek celebrates 100 years since the birth of Gerald Durrell. Having been a trustee of Durrell for six years and involved with the Charity for almost 20 years, I want to help Durrell generate more funds to save animals from extinction through captive breeding and release programmes and grassland restoration and management (including the pygmy hogs - the smallest pig in the World/one of the most threatened mammals on Earth).

This expedition includes hiking and camping high in the mountains and whilst in India we will also get a unique insight into Durrell's vital wildlife conservation work.

Every penny that I raise will go towards conservation work - my trip is fully funded by myself.

Thank you so much for your support.
