I am getting back on my bike at the ripe old age of 68 to do 110kms on Day 1, then a shorter Day 2 - cycling to English vineyards in Sussex, Surrey and Kent to raise much-needed funds to support people who work in the same industry which has been my life for nearly five decades, but who are struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Don't be fooled into thinking this will be a wine holiday - I certainly know how tough it will be with MANY hills to climb, including the notorious Box Hill - although I will no doubt have a celebratory glass or two of English fizz on completion.

...and before you ask, I can't do all 3 days of the tour because I am going on holiday on Sunday 1st October!
