Unfortunately Dementia diagnosis is becoming more common amongst families. There are over 55 million people worldwide living with dementia in 2020. This number will almost double every 20 years, reaching 78 million in 2030. It is frightening to think that the illness is not just affecting the elderly, but younger generations too and even babies being born with it. It is vital that more research is conducted as to why this is happening, and possibly find a cure.
