Story

The MAMIL’s are signed up and fundraising again for the Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2025! Simon is the original team member and this will be his 15th ride, supporting our veterans. James has completed seven rides, Ian six and Jimmy five. Together we make up Team MAMIL (Middle Age Men in Lycra) and are ably supported by friends Sean and Paul on the trip.

Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, and Armed Forces Day with a 4-day charity bike ride. The Big Battlefield Bike Ride (BBBR) is a charity cycle challenge like no other

The Bike Ride in 2025 is a special year and we had to sign-up again. In 2025 we will take a 4-day bike ride to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, and Armed Forces Day - remembering the sacrifices made by brave servicemen and women. Starting at Buckingham Palace we’ll follow the path of WW2 Allied Forces to Rheine

The Big Battlefield Bike Ride is now in its 17th year and continues to be a great challenge worthy of our support.
