Story
I am one of nine local businesspeople who have been put behind bars for Maggie's. I've been found guilty of being The Loch Ness Sales Monster! A sales powerhouse so effective, it’s almost mythical. I've been sent down with bail set at £1,500.
Having traded in my freedom for Maggie's, With only my phone, laptop and my powers of persuasion, the challenge I face is to call on the collective goodwill of my network to raise funds for Maggie's Highlands. My freedom & reputation depend on it!
"I have to chosen to participate in Maggie's Highlands Jail or Bail event to show my commitment to a cause close to the hearts of many at Norscot. As Norscot's Charity of the Year, Maggie's Highlands provides essential support to those affected by cancer – a reality that touches more lives than many might realise. By participating in this unique event, I hope to raise funds and awareness for this invaluable local charity, highlighting the importance of community support for individuals and families facing cancer and the meaningful impact that Maggie's makes throughout the Highlands"
Maggie's Highlands has approached local business leaders and entrepreneurs and ask if they would be prepared to be locked up for Maggie's. To their delight they agreed, and here we are today. All of the courageous jail birds have been charged with outrageous fictitious crimes and are now in cuffs and behind bars.
Jail or bail is sure to be fun for everyone involved, but let's not forget the important reason behind the event: to raise funds to support people with cancer.
Thank you
