#TeamWinchesterHospice are going on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to trek 50km across the Moroccan Sahara Desert! On 6 November, our team will head out for six days to make their way across sand dunes, sun-baked plains and ancient river beds!

Story

As anyone who knows me will know - I HATE walking - I HATE tents and sleeping bags - I LOVE a decent shower (preferably ice cold)

..... however, I am setting aside all these concerns and on 7th November 2024, I will be taking part in the #TeamWinchesterHospice Sahara Trek!

As part of a 20+ team, I will spend 3-4 days making our way across 50kms of sand dunes, sun-baked plains and ancient dried up river beds in temperatures of 30* during the day down to 0* at night.

All to raise money for Winchester Hospice (the only adult hospice in Winchester) of which I am very proud to be a Founding Trustee.

Every donation helps the specialist team at Winchester Hospice to provide palliative and end of life care to those with life-limiting illness . With your support, they can develop and grow these vital services to be there for even more families in our city both now and for years to come.

Thank you for supporting this foolhardy personal challenge for a charity so close to my heart - your donation is hugely appreciated.
