To celebrate my retirement after over 40 years of being a surveyor, I decided to cycle from one end of the country to another with a few of my friends. Having seen the presentation by LionHeart at the L& G Surveyors’ annual conference, I thought it would be appropriate to try and raise some money for their cause.

LionHeart is the charity for Chartered Surveyors, past and present, and their families. They’ve helped thousands of surveyors and their families for over 100 years, and plan to be here for many more.

Their services are available to every member of RICS and their families, from APC candidates right through their careers and into retirement.

Donations are absolutely vital to their work. They help surveyors who have hit a tough time in their lives, by providing financial help, work-related support, counselling or legal advice. Sickness, bereavement and unemployment are just a few of the reasons LionHeart are asked to help.
