At a time when there are many people suffering around the world, the news cycle has moved on and Ukraine while not forgotten is often eclipsed. Please spare what you can to provide support for humanitarian aid in Ukraine for all those displaced by Russia's invasion.

Ian & I will be suffering for an expected 4 days in our challenge to be the first lightweight pair to row a continuous 1000Km on a Concept 2 rowing machine starting on Friday 6th February.

The picture above is from my 111,111M solo row for Combat Stress on 11/11/11. From that row it was over a week before I could comfortably eat solids due to gritting my teeth for most of the second half as visible here. So I know this will hurt, but it is nothing compared to what many that are helped by the charity have been through!

In the event we were not able to compete the challenge. But we rowed for 32 hours 23 mins and 9.9 seconds to set a new longest continuos row for a 40+ lightweight tandem team world record. In the process we rowed 394,177M.
