Blue Apple makes a huge difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities, people who we believe should be treated equally and fairly both in the arts and beyond.

Our mission is to challenge prejudices through high-quality and inclusive artistic practices, enabling people with learning disabilities to achieve excellence in all levels of their life.

Through Blue Apple, our talented performers gain confidence, increase their fitness levels, develop friendships – all of which will benefit their mental health and wellbeing.

My name is Issa, 15, and I love volunteering weekly at the Blue Apple theatre! It is such a pleasure every time and I would recommend the experience to anyone without hesitation.

On Friday 29th September, I am running 21.6km, just over a half-marathon, to raise money for Blue Apple.
