In 1996, at 23 years of age, I was involved in a car accident. I was left in a coma for 6 weeks and my long recovery and rehabilitation, has included learning to walk and talk again. Bronglais Hospital has provided me with exceptional care and support over many years. I celebrate my 50th birthday on 4th April 2023 and as a thank you, I have decided to set myself this fundraising challenge. My extra motivation to lift this weight came from the knowledge that the World Record for Deadlift is 501kg. All monies raised will be for the benefit of Bronglais Hospital my target is £5000.00.
