Story
My six year old cousin, Felix, spent lots of his early years in hospital. Because I love him, I wanted to ask for your help to fight his disease, but Felix said
No, please raise money for Starlight
Starlight is a charity for children’s play in hospitals and hospices. It helps children in hospital have some childhood, and be brave when returning to hospital again and again.
11 year olds aren’t actually allowed to run half marathons. So I have to run the 21 kilometres ((13 miles) on my own, which is annoying.
I’m also training alone. For almost 4 months! Already I’m running more than 10km early each Saturday morning, before my football match starts. It’s cold and boring and tiring. I’m not enjoying it, and it’s hard to stay motivated. So please sponsor me to do this for children in hospital - whatever you can give.
The great news is Felix is doing well now.
