Story
August is the month India celebrates its Independence! HungerMitao celebrates the month as HungerMitao Month, with the goal to help North Texas Food Bank achieve Independence from hunger for the people served by the Food Bank.
This August, we are collecting 16 oz plastic jars of peanut/nut butter. As you know, nut butter is a dense, shelf stable protein and is always on the Food Bank's "wish list".
Here are ways you can help!
1) Click on "Give now" on this page. With its enormous purchasing power, the North Texas Food Bank can stretch our donated dollars to procure more than what we buy.
2) Want to donate peanut butter instead? Buy a few jars of nut butter and drop them off at any India Bazaar location (any day in August).
Congratulations for enabling millions of nutritious meals through the HungerMitao movement for food challenged children, seniors, veterans, and families in need across America.
Thank you for your participation in this war against hunger!!
