Story
Join us as we celebrate the arrival of spring with the 2024 HungerMitao Spring Food Drive! Throughout the month of March, we come together to honor the spirit of numerous Indian festivals by extending a helping hand to those in need.
The HungerMitao Spring Food Drive is a cornerstone campaign of the HungerMitao movement, dedicated to supporting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in its mission to combat hunger. This year, we invite you and your organization to participate in one or more of the following ways:
π. πππππ: Rally your friends, family, and colleagues to donate non perishable food items such as:
- Peanut Butter, 16 oz not mixed with other items like jelly, honey, chocolate
- Canned Fruit, 14-16 oz
- Shelf-stable Milk, 8 oz not flavored with chocolate, vanilla, strawberry
- Canned Protein, 5 oz
- Low-sodium Canned Vegetables, 15-16 oz
- Trail Mix, 1-2 oz bag Nut Butter, Beans, Rice
Simply collect the donated food items and drop them off at the NTFB Distribution Center in Plano. Don't forget to mention that your donation is part of the "HungerMitao" movement.
π. ππππππ: Donate right here on this page. Every donated dollar results in three nutritious meals and helps provide food to individuals and families facing food insecurity across North Texas.
Finally, we request each of you to help spread the word far and wide! Share this information with your network, encouraging others to get involved and support this vital initiative.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at NorthTexas@hungermitao.org.
