Story
Staff from the Humber Perinatal mental health liaison team are embarking on a meaningful journey to support mums and babies affected by postpartum psychosis.
We are rallying behind Action on Postpartum Psychosis (APP), a UK charity dedicated to providing crucial support and resources for those who experience this severe yet treatable form of mental illness.
With a goal of raising funds for APP, we are committed to running, walking, cycling, and swimming a total of 99km each throughout the month of May.
By participating in 'miles for mums and babies,' we aim to raise awareness, foster empathy, and generate vital funds to ensure that individuals facing postpartum psychosis receive the support they need.
