I've been involved with Phone Credit for Refugees for a few years now. It's a brilliant grass roots organisation that raises money to give phone credit top-ups to refugees and displaced people, so they can keep in contact with family and use the internet. It's a lean mean machine entirely run by volunteers, so every penny goes to the cause.

Someone had the silly idea to get supporters to raise sponsorship for running the distance of a marathon in January, only not all at once! I've left it a bit late to start since it's already 16th, tho we got out for a 4.6 miler this morning.

It's not a massive challenge, just an excuse to ask for money for an excellent cause 😁

So ... £10 will provide, er, £10 of credit, unless you gift aid it when it will magically provide £12.50 🕺🏻
