Giving Back with Lardy Cakes:

On Friday June 21st, our Huffkins Cheltenham Promenade tearooms will be hosting a charity cake sale where we will be giving away over 500 of our famous lardy cakes to the community. In return for these delicious treats, attendees are encouraged to make a donation to Winston's Wish. All proceeds will go towards the children’s charity. This event marks the exciting first step in Huffkins’ long-term partnership with Winston’s Wish. It also highlights the ongoing dedication to supporting worthy causes that align with our family values of generosity and community spirit.

Since 1992, Gloucestershire-born charity Winston’s Wish, living by their mission of ‘giving hope to grieving children’, has grown into a national beacon of support. They empower children and young people (up to 25) facing the heartbreak of bereavement or life-changing challenges. Through individual and group sessions, online resources, and professional training, Winston’s Wish ensures no young person grieves alone.

Beyond the Cake Sale:

Huffkins' commitment to Winston's Wish extends beyond the initial event. We are introducing two exciting initiatives to further support the charity:

"Winston's Wednesdays": Every Wednesday, at Cheltenham Promenade Huffkins we will offer our lardy cakes for a special price of just £1, with 50p from each sale donated directly to Winston's Wish. This allows customers to enjoy their favourite treat at a discounted price while contributing to a good cause.

Cheltenham Promenade Support: All lardy cake sales at Cheltenham Promenade will now have 50p going towards Winston's Wish. This way, attendees can indulge in a Huffkins classic while supporting a local charity.
