Story
On 27th April 2025 I'm running the London Marathon. Wow! I can't believe it!
Training for a marathon isn't easy! I'm doing it because I want to fight for hospice care for all who need it. My race and fundraiser are dedicated to my late Papa, Graham Gordon, the namesake of my beautiful nephew, Graham. Papa passed in 2020, and thanks to his hospice care, in his final days we listened to his favorite music, shared memories, and surrounded him with love at home, as he wished. In this most human time of life, everyone deserves the dignity and care they need.
Hospice care eases the pain of death and dying, letting people focus on living, right until the end. Too many miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, now and forever.
As the national champion for hospices, Hopsice UK supports over 200 hospices across the UK, helping them deliver the best, most personalised care to 300,000 people each year. But hospices are underfunded and under immense pressure.
Your support can make a difference. Donate to my page and join me in promoting and protecting hospice care for all.
