Hednesford Running Club takes on OML

Fundraising for Kids' Village
£1,582
raised of £1,200 target
Event: One More Lap, on 15 September 2024
One More Lap will see runners competing to complete as many laps of Stowe Pool as they can in 12 hours. This will be Lichfield’s first ultramarathon and it’s all in the name of a good cause – with every penny raised going to Kids' Village.

Story

One More Lap, an ultra-endurance relay event, will see 150 runners in 25 teams, competing to complete as many laps of Stowe Pool as they can in 12 hours.

This will be Lichfield’s first ultramarathon and it’s all in the name of a good cause – with every penny raised going to local charity, Kids’ Village.

Kids’ Village is set to be the UK’s first respite holiday village for sick children & their families. The village, set to be built in Wychnor just outside Lichfield, will be a place for children to enjoy time together with their families in nature, free from daily challenges of battling a serious illness.

HRC have 2 teams entered, with one team going for the Speed Project and aiming to get that 1st place and the other team trying to beat them. Our goal is to raise £100 per person and to get through the whole 12 hours without too much suffering.

We would really appreciate any donations and your support.

Thanks,

Team HRC
