Howard Peebles started walking in the Spring of 2013 after requiring two coronary artery stents. He commenced and has continued to have a twice daily discipline of walking three miles, regardless of weather conditions. The only days he has missed over these years are when he was abroad visiting 'Shared Hope' projects in 3rd world countries and during initial Covid lockdown.

A charitable trust will match any donations up to £20,000.

Howard Peebles, born in 1943, lives in Waterfoot and has taken on many incredible challenges in his life.

Howard was the Group Financial Director and Chairman of a specialist sub-contractor in the construction industry. All of Howard's life, he has been heavily involved in Christian Ministry.

With others, 16 years ago Howard started up a charity to become involved in economic, social, medical, educational and fresh water supply projects and today they are involved in around 80 projects in 16 countries.
