I have decided to take on a personal challenge and raise money for Colostomy UK where my wife volunteers. Debbie started working there as a volunteer in February 2023 and is her first return to the workplace since battling bowel cancer from 2019. As a double ostomate herself she is able to empathise with the many people seeking advice and help from Colostomy UK. We ourselves know how life changing dealing with bowel cancer can be and we are both pleased to be able to do something for others in return.

I am funding the trip myself so any money raised will go directly to Colostomy UK.

Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people with stomas and to their families, carers and friends. Colostomy UK also campaigns and acts as advocates for ostomates on the many issues they face going about their daily lives. We want hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all. Our vision is of communities in which everyone is empowered to reach their potential.
