Doctors and scientists at the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neuron Disease Research undertake vital research into motor neuron disease (MND); a condition that causes muscle weakness and paralysis, difficulty speaking, swallowing and breathing.

Story

Linda, the mother of the bride, is in our hearts and with us every step of the way alongside Robert, Morag, and Peter as we ask our parents to support and bless our marriage.

Linda was full of energy, joyful, kind, and a scientist (among many other things)! It is therefore fitting that we honor her by supporting the great work of the doctors and scientists at the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neuron Disease Research in finding treatments to slow, stop and reverse the effects of MND. The centre is pioneering lab-to-trial research co-location for MND, and it runs the largest-of-its-kind for MND drug trial programme, using therapies pre-approved for other conditions to treat MND.

All donations are processed through the University of Edinburgh Development Trust before going directly to the Euan MacDonald Centre. All donations will go in full to MND research.
