Story
In November 2022, my Dad, Colin, died of cancer after 3 years of incredible struggle against this vicious disease. When it came to the end, he knew he wanted to die at home with his family. The amazing team at Hospice made sure this could happen. The care he received before and after he died was beyond any of our expectations.
Hospice is a remarkable charity that provides a vital service for the Isle of Man. It costs a huge amount of money to keep Hospice running. Their services are available to anyone who needs it. That''s why me and a group of others are cycling 170 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington to raise money for Hospice in the Isle of Man.
Hospice provides care that is free at the point of use, and available to everyone that needs it. Everyone in the Isle of Man will know someone who has received care from Hospice. It's an integral part of our community and we all feel passionate about it.
