Late October 2023 the Hope High School family lost one of its former students to mental health at the tender age of 16.

Leo completed his journey with Hope High school in the summer of 2023, leaving with all our best wishes and dreams for the future.

Waking up to the news that Leo was no longer with us, impacted his family, friends and school staff to a level that can't be described in words.

A Son, Brother and friend to so many, taken too soon.

Hope High School want to continue to celebrate his life and support others going through mental health difficulties, especially young people.

Last July, a team led by Mrs Dunbavin completed the Run Aintree event and raised a magnificent £1200.00 for Lancashire Mind in memory of Leo. This year, we have entered the Chorley 10k to again raise funds for Lancashire Mind.

Lancashire Mind are a fantastic local charity who are passionate about making a difference to the mental health of people living in Lancashire.
