So, this is my STORY

Hello my Name is Hope Georgina Russell and I am 25 years old and I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease on Tuesday 26th January in the year of 1999 when I was born into this world and have been fighting every single day through the highs and the very worst moments of my illness having chronic kidney disease is a hard journey but it’s a journey that has made me into the woman I am today I would never what anymore else to go through the thing that I have been through the last 24 years of my life so much emotions and so much anxiety and horrible and scary moments and so much pain we’re I really didn’t now we’re my life was heading but on Friday 19th may 2023 my whole life changed forever as I had my kidney transplant after waiting 24 years i finally got my life back and what a difference it has made and it all thanks to my mums amazing kidney as she donated it to me she really is a true hero, I truly couldn’t of got to we’re I am today 24 years later without the incredible support and love of all my amazing friends and family so that Is why I have just launched my very first ever JustGiving page to raise money for my chosen charity which is the brilliant kidney research UK any donations would be greatly appreciated and the money we raise will make a huge difference. I chose this charity because it’s very close to me and my family’s heart and means so much to me and my family we have been through so much together and they have helped so many people out there like me who have been diagnosed with the disease and I just really wanted to give something back to say a huge thank you for all their hard work so on Saturday 6th April 2024 I will be setting myself a challenge to hopefully complete a 13.2 miles walk around Milton Keynes I’m looking forward to any sponsorship's and for anyone that would like to join me would mean so much in this challenge
