Story

Norah's Challenge for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Norah, an 8-year-old girl, has been growing her hair for the past two years with the intention of donating it to help young lives in need. In August 2022, her mum had her whole head shaved for Alopecia UK, and Norah expressed her desire to do the same. Although initially hesitant due to her young age, i agreed that if she continued growing her hair and still wanted it done, she could have it cut into a short bob. The time has come, and Norah is excited to donate her hair for charity while also hoping to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. The hair cut event will take place on 26th August 2024 at our local pub, The Puss in Boots at 1230pm Norah will be having her hair styled by a local hairdresser, Leoni Saphron Mansfield of Hair we go salon, based in Macclesfield. Your support through donations or by checking out the fundraising page link is greatly appreciated. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of young people in need.
