Run the iconic London Marathon for Aspire and raise essential funds for people paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury.

Story

I'm running the TCS London Marathon in 2025 to raise money for the spinal injury charity, Aspire, in memory of my late Grandfather.

In 2012, my Grandfather was involved in an unfortunate accident whilst working on the farm and as a result was Tetraplegic (C3 complete). He was cared for brilliantly in the critical care spinal unit at The Mater Hospital for 10 months following which he sadly passed away. Were he to have survived, he would have required significant post hospital care such as that Aspire tirelessly provide.

Every two hours someone is paralysed in the UK by a spinal cord injury and there is currently no cure.

Aspire is a privately funded charity and I am hoping to raise enough to help Aspire continue their important work, helping them support hundreds of people every year.
