Fundraising in North Wales for RNLI in 2024

Story

Holyhead is one of the three oldest lifeboat stations on the Welsh coast and has a remarkable history of bravery with 70 awards for gallantry. Today, the station operates both an all-weather Severn class lifeboat and an inshore D class lifeboat.

The average lifeboat station in Wales costs £155,000 to run. We are asking all our friends and communities to donate what they can to keep us running so that we can continue saving lives at sea.

Our Lifeboat crews will always be there to keep you and your loved ones safe, on our watch, there will be no preventable deaths on our coasts. Please help us fulfill that mission.

Mae Caergybi ymysg y tri hynaf o holl orsafoedd bad achub yr RNLI ar hyd arfordir Cymru ac mae ganddo hanes hynod o ddewrder gyda 70 o fedalau am gyfraniadau arwrol. Heddiw, mae'r orsaf yn gartref i fad achub aml dywydd, dosbarth Hafren (Severn) a bad achub dosbarth D.

Bydd criwiau'r bad achub bob amser yno yn ymdrechu i gadw eich anwyliaid yn ddiogel. Ein amcan ni yw sicrhau na fydd unrhyw fywydau ataliadwy yn gael eu colli ar yr arfordir. Helpwch ni er mwyn cyflawni ein nȏd.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
