Story

On 22/2/2025, I lost my sister, Daisy May Catterall, to a rare disease called HLH. At just 25 years old, Daisy’s passing has left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, and partner, and her loss is something I’ll carry with me forever.

To honour Daisy’s memory, I’m taking on a challenge I never thought I’d face: running a half marathon. I’ve never been a runner, but I’m committed to doing this for Daisy. Through this, I hope to raise money for University College London Hospitals Charity UK, with 100% of the funds going directly to research into HLH.

Every step of this run will be for Daisy. It will be hard, but it’s something I’m willing to do to make a difference in her name. I’m carrying her spirit with me every mile, and I hope that by doing this, we can help support the work that may save lives in the future.

Do it for Daisy!🌼
