Story
I may live to regret this, but I drunk too many Proseccos and signed up to the London marathon! I’m not going to pretend it will be easy, it’s considerably further than anything I have run before! Please give generously to keep me motivated through my training, and I’ll keep you updated with my progress.
In one way or another Sue Ryder and in particular, Manorlands in Oxenhope, has played a part in the lives of many family members and friends and I would like to take this opportunity to give back to this amazing charity. Personally for me, Manorlands took over the care of my beloved Grandma for the last weeks of her life so I could rest assured that she would not die alone. The wonderful staff allowed me to concentrate on being a Granddaughter, instead of her carer, so I could spend my time giving Grandma love and cuddles in her final days.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
They require £15,000 a day to keep doing what they do! So please, please, please dig deep!
Thank you!
