Hollie’s Fundraiser for Brain Tumour Research

Brain Tumour Research Firewalks 2023
Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840)
I am doing a firewalk for Brain Tumour Research to help find a cure because one in three people know someone affected by this devastating disease.

Story

Earlier this year my little brother James was diagnosed with a brain tumour at just 16 years old, and is now undergoing chemotherapy.

As a family we were completely in shock. After researching into the disease we have discovered that brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

Myself, James & Will are taking on a firewalk on 9th March to raise more funds. We are now £500 off raising a days research for the charity which costs £2,740!!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
