Story
In June 2025, we are taking on the South Coast Mighty Hike to support people living with cancer, specifically prostate cancer. This full marathon trek is our way of making a difference for those in need, like my dad.
My mum and I aim to raise £250. We know first-hand how important it is to have support throughout this challenging journey, and we are committed to raising awareness and funds to help others going through similar battles. This vital support provides essential medical, practical, and emotional assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer. This can be so beneficial to individuals with cancer and their families. To know that my dad who was diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 3B in 2023 has so much support from not only his family, but strangers is amazing and very reassuring! Cancer patients can go through many physical and emotional changes and challenges, so any support even a little can help them so much.
With over 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today, every contribution counts towards ensuring that Macmillan can be there for everyone at any stage of their journey—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. A community of support can make all the distance and provide comfort to those who have cancer. Your donation, no matter what size will make a meaningful impact and help individuals and families cope with the complexities of cancer care. Please help us in making a meaningful impact and helping us reach our goal. Thank you for your support!
Love you Dad :)
