Story
Hi Everyone, this year Mum, Dad and Myself are fundraising for Sue Ryder.
This is the charity supports palliative patients and their families across the UK going through one of the toughest journeys in life.
This is also important to me as I work at their Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough; supporting the clinical team with this extraordinary task; and am aware of the struggles we face needing charitable donations to continue to offer this care.
We are aiming to complete the 5k walk along with the dogs; so please donate what you can.
Example of what your donated money can help with:
£20 could pay for a patient’s meals for the day in one of our hospices. We always do our best to cater for someone’s individual preferences and dietary requirements.
£25 could fund an hour of expert care, so our Sue Ryder doctors and nurses can help manage patients’ pain and symptoms.
£40 could provide our personalised text support service Sue Ryder Grief Coach to someone who is grieving for a year, as well as gentle coaching for friends and family who want to support them.
Please consider donating to support this wonderful cause.
Thank you
