Story
Hobbycraft’s chosen charity is Together for Short Lives who support all 54 children’s hospice services across the UK. They are the UK voice for children and young people who are not expected to reach adulthood. The charity ensures that all children living with a terminal illness, and their families, receive the best possible care and support wherever they live and for as long as they need it.
It's our big 10-year anniversary this year...can you believe it!?! We are so thankful to all of our colleagues and customers for supporting our trekkers who have raised just over £350,000 over the years, it really does mean a lot and your donations keep us going.
Our trekking together team are Dominic Jordan, Michael Oates, Andrew Moulden, Scott Upsall, Dave Poole and Jon Adams from Hobbycraft, and Together for Short Lives CEO Andy Fletcher. Dominic Jordan and Michael Oates were the founding trek team members 10 years ago and have walked over 1000 miles for Together for Short Lives, what a record! This year they’ll also be welcoming Hobbycrafter’s Heather Robbins and Joel Pickering along the way, who we know will keep the trekkers spirits high!
Our target is to raise £50,000 by walking 100 miles through the Tamara Way in Devon. The group will be pushing themselves to the limits across four gruelling days, so that children’s hospices are not pushed to theirs. Please help us to reach our target by donating whatever you can afford.
A big thank you from Hobbycraft and especially from our magnificent trekkers.
