Story
We're taking part in the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike in memory of our wonderful friend Kerry who was taken far too soon to cancer earlier this year. Kerry spent her final days being extremely well cared for in a hospice; support that was invaluable to her and her family & friends so we are walking to raise funds to help others who find themselves in a similar situation.
Sadly, almost all of us will experience the loss of a loved one - your support can help more people get the end-of-life and bereavement care they need and deserve.
- £25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love
- £42 could go towards grief counselling sessions for people coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.
- £63 could go towards training a nurse to provide end-of-life care.
Sue Ryders specialist teams provide expert and compassionate care, which means the end of peoples lives can be filled with friendship, family and love in their final moments together.
