Story
Thank you for visiting my Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 fundraising page. I am taking on this amazing challenge for the National Autistic Society, the UK's largest autism charity supporting the 700,000 people and their families across the country.
The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks. Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
I am taking on this challenge because... I am autistic! Autism awareness and acceptance are important to me.
I've had a long and winding journey to diagnosis. First on a waiting list for a year, then removed when I went travelling. Upon my return accidentally referred for an ADHD assessment... and diagnosed too! A private autism assessment coming back inconclusive around the same time due to heavy masking...
And then more recently, finally diagnosed with autism. But by then I already knew. It wasn't something I needed someone to confirm or grant me. I was already who I was.
I also support ADHD UK as an ambassador and have fundraised for them. Now it's time to do something for autism.
Please donate what you can and please share my page. Thank you!
