Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of my beloved husband Mike who sadly passed away on February 5th this year after battling an extraordinarily aggressive form of oesophageal cancer.

The photo is of Mike when we were on our last proper holiday together going to the Euros in July 2024, when we went to 3 matches, Dusseldorf, Kőln and Leipzig. Not only was the football excellent including the England match but we did loads of sightseeing and we spent a lovely few days with Mike’s German cousins. A holiday together to remember for the rest of my life.

Mike asked that if anyone wished to make a donation in his memory that it should be towards Cancer Research UK to help in the discovery of new treatments for this and other cancers. It was also our chosen charity that we raised money for when we celebrated our Ruby wedding on July 29th 2018.
