Story
The London Marathon will be the first marathon that I have ever run and a real challenge!
As an educator of primary-aged children, I am proud to be running for the NSPCC. Working closely with children every day, I see firsthand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. Beyond teaching, my role involves safeguarding and supporting children’s well-being, making the work of the NSPCC especially close to my heart.
The NSPCC is the leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. The NSPCC believes that every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse, and as someone who works to support and empower young people daily, I am honoured to run in support of this vital cause.
