Dallaglio RugbyWorks (DRW) is my chosen charity for my year in office.

DRW works with young people aged between 12-18, who have been excluded from school and helps support them to realise their full potential for the future. Social and educational exclusion has a direct link with future crime and detention.

DRW uses rugby as an engagement tool to build trusted adult relationships that aim to develop life skills, raise aspirations, improve physical wellbeing, and focus on mental wellbeing and resilience. It provides employability opportunities to increase a young person’s likelihood of being in employment, education, or training post-18.

DRW currently works with schools and pupil referral units in Aberdare and Rhondda Cynon Taf and with young offenders at Parc Prison within Mid Glamorgan. For further information: www.dallagliorugbyworks.com
