Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the page.

On the 31st August 2024, I will be running a distance of 33 miles around the Peak District, in the Peveril 33 event.

To put that in perspective, 33 miles is the same distance as if I chose to run from Stafford, all the way to Derby, with the addition of the same elevation of 5x the Empire State Building. It’s no mean feat.

Aside from a personal challenge, I have chosen to do this for a fantastic cause. I recently learned of the Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA), and the work they have been doing in the Staffordshire area for families impacted by childhood cancer, and it’s nothing short of remarkable. They told me the story of two wonderful children they supported, Max and Flo. Sadly, Max, and Flo are no longer with us, but the CCPA have set-up a Kindness Fund in their memory.

The ‘Max and Flo Kindness Fund’ is a fund that directly supports families in financial difficulty after a child cancer diagnosis, the money raised from my run will go directly to the CCPA, and into the fund.

Please donate what you are able to or send me a message of support.
