Story
When asked what he'd like to do during the school holidays, Henry said he'd like to go on lots of long walks. He set himself the goal of 100 miles over the 6 week holidays.
I also asked him if he'd like to raise money for charity. He loved the idea! When I listed various charities to him, he asked questions about Wales Air Ambulance. I explained what they did and that even his dad (Matt) have had to use their service back in 2011. So that helped him decide!
We will do a mixture of the hilly Pembrokeshire coastal path, parkruns at Cobly parkrun and gentle woodland strolls and try to document it along the way!
The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.
Your donations will help keep this vital service in Wales.
