Story

Life throws curveballs but this has to be the cruelest most unimaginable for the Ohly family.

Project GO is a family fund, set up by Nick and Kirsty on receiving the new that their wonderful sons Owen and George both have Duchenne, which supports the incredible work of Duchenne UK. DUK take an innovative and sharply focused approach to fighting Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy from every angle. This involves four key areas of work: funding groundbreaking medical research, accelerating access to treatments, improving lives through technology, and ensuring everyone in the DMD community is given the care and support they need.

Over the past 10 years, the Duchenne Dash has grown into Duchenne UK's biggest and most challenging fundraising event, raising more than £5.5 million for DMD research. After talking about it for too long, finally Nick could resist no more, and he has persuaded his old friends, Tom and Henry, to join him in riding the 300km from London to Paris in under 24 hours. They are humbled by the support of every friend, relative, colleagues, and beyond. Thank you all so much.

I cannot imagine the daily challenges faced by the Ohlsk’s. This charity is doing vital fundraising and research to desperately find a cure. Please can you give generously and support me as I feel every 1 of the 186 miles in my posterior.
