Story
Hendstock is a festival in memory of our friend Ian Hendry who died suddenly after contracting meningitis. Ian was a great friend, our best man when we got married and Godfather to our son
After he died, we decided to hold an annual party for him on a Saturday near his birthday.
This year it is on Saturday 20th July.
The deal is this;
We tidy up the garden, build a stage, hire toilets (thanks toilet sponsors ), put up marquees, install lights, set up a PA and put up some bunting.
We have 2 food trucks booked. Pizzas from Lols and Burgers from Between Buns. Wyldesky are providing a beer bar with added prosecco. All you need to do is bring something to sit on and perhaps an umbrella if rain is forecast.
We’ve currently got over 14 acts ranging from young children getting up on stage for the very first time to Linton's premier dad band.
Over the last 8 years we have raised over £30,000 for Meningitis Now. We appreciate things have been difficult for a lot of people this year so have set a much lower target (£2,500).
So if you knew Ian or you know us we'd love to see you and if you can't make it then any donations would really help.
