Story
my name is Alex. I am 9 years old.
Two and a half years ago, I heard from my mum about kids with cancer who lose their hair. I decided I wasn't going to cut my hair anymore until my hair was long enough to be made into a wig to help one of those kids feel better. My Mum has cut my hair today and we are going to send it off to the Little Princess Trust charity. It costs about £700 pounds to make a wig. I have made 410 pounds already. The charity also funds childhood cancer research so I am hoping to raise £2,000 for them. I did a sale of hairbands and scrunchies at school that Mum and I made. We got £410. Dad has set up this page so I can try to raise the rest.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
