Kit's going to the Transplant Games!
This July, Kit will be competing in a range of sports- from a sprint, to a long jump, to a ball throw- in Coventry at the British Transplant Games.
Those that know our family well will know that the Transplant Games holds special meaning for us. It is, after all, where Kit's mum and dad met and now Kit is continuing the legacy after competing for the first time in Leeds last year.
Kit will be officially representing The Freeman Children's team but, most importantly, he will be honouring his donor. Taking part in this inspiring event would not be possible without them.
His hospital charity, CHUF, plays a huge part in getting him to the games so Kit would like to give a little back by raising funds for them.
Please sponsor £1- or even £5- so that CHUF can continue supporting families like ours in the extraordinary way they do.
Chuf's mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or who develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families. Chuf supports children and families who receive treatment at the Children’s Heart Unit based at the Freeman Hospital and the many other hospitals providing care for cardiac patients throughout the North of England.
