Can you help Gracie?

Last summer, a white stray cat found her way to the local Cats Protection in Bracknell. It was immediately clear that she had suffered from sun damage to her ears. After a thorough health check with our branch vet, it was determined that the damage was severe enough to warrant surgical intervention. To prevent further complications, both ear flaps were removed, and subsequent tests revealed the presence of cancerous cells. This timely intervention was crucial for her well-being.
Her recovery journey was long, but despite the challenges, her bold personality shone through as she healed. With the dedicated care and love from her fosterers over many months, she eventually received the all-clear and became available for rehoming. We are mindful that strong sunlight could pose ongoing risks for her as a white cat, so we are seeking a new owner who will prioritize sun safety for her.
This lovely and sassy girl has shown incredible resilience. We have worked tirelessly to restore her health, and after all she has endured, we are thrilled to share that she has been successfully rehomed and is now settling into her forever home.
Gracie's veterinary costs totaled over £1,000. Any donation—big or small—will make a significant difference in supporting your local Cats Protection in Bracknell. Thank you on behalf of this brave cat and all the cats and kittens in our care.
