Story

I am very excited to join a group of twelve extraordinary women trekking through the Cordilla Moutain region in Luzon, Philippines in order to raise funds for the protection the local women and envionrment. We are all part of the HER Planet Earth non-profit organization, where our mission is to trek 70km in 7 days in the UNESCO world heritage site of the Quirino Protected Landscape.

The goal of our expedition is to support and empower women farmers, preserving rich cultural heritage. At the same time we will support the protection and restoration of the ecology and biodiversity of the local rainforests. This mission aligns with HER Planet Earth’s and my own commitment to advancing gender equality and driving climate resilience in vulnerable communities.

Collaborting with local partners, the aim is to provide critical resources and training to women farmers allowing them to better adapt to the challenges they face due to climate change. I would kindly ask your support in helping me reach my goal of $4,000 to support the women and nature of the local community.
