Fundraising for Disability Challengers
Story
On 21st October, Guildford parkrun will be turning Orange in support of Challengers! I will be running 5km in aid of this wonderful charity.
Challengers is a charity that provides play and leisure activities for disabled children and young people. It enables these children to have a safe space to make friends, learn new things and have lots of fun in a fully inclusive environment.
Challengers gives parents and carers valuable respite from the demands of their caring responsibilities. I have worked for the charity for 4 years, and have been lucky to witness the amazing impact it has had on young people and their whole family.
