About us
Having just completed our undergraduate studies at Cardiff University, we have found our next challenge. We are running the North Cornwall, Endurance Life Ultra Marathon - a gruelling 50km along the many ups and downs of the wild Cornish coastline – raising money for Children Change Colombia.

Why Children Change Colombia?
Over the last 33 years, Children Change Colombia has helped protect, support and empower over 72,000 Colombian children. Their priorities lie in tackling three key issues which pose a serious threat to children’s rights and wellbeing: recruitment into armed groups, sexual and gender-based violence and exclusion from education.
As an intern at Children Change Colombia, supporting the charity and the work they do is something very important to Fin. He is also a part-time teacher of English as a foreign language and is extremely excited for the implementation of the ‘Paz a la Mochila’ project. He is hoping to soon be teaching English to Colombians with the charity, supporting their work first hand.
Helena has just begun her 19th year in education, studying towards a Psychology PhD. Valuing education is one of the many reasons why supporting children to obtain their right to education and providing opportunities is something that is very important to her. In 2021, approximately 30% of school-aged children in Colombia were not receiving any form or education. With projects such as the Scholarship Programme and Project Sé, Children Change Colombia is able to give children access to high-quality education and help these children follow their dreams.
