Back in 2018 we did our very first cycle ride in France from Hendaye to Roscoff, 1200 Km over 5 weeks with ordinary bikes and a tent! We raised £3000 for our chosen charity, Parish Nursing Ministries UK, who do an amazing work encouraging churches to engage in whole person health, alongside the NHS. (www.parishnursing.org.uk).

It was quite an adventure, but we enjoyed it so much we've done more occasional cycle trips since.

Now a little older and wiser, we've upgraded our bikes, and decided against taking a tent, but have planned a 600 Km trip down the Saone and Rhone valleys, to the east of France. To keep it as green as possible we are not taking the car but using trains to get to the start and back from the finish.
